Gertrude's seventh post: 4/26/11
I still feel shocked! My son just killed a man. I wonder if Claudius will understand, even though he knows Hamlet has lost his mind. We need to find the body in order to keep Hamlet safe. I fear for him, for his well-being and for ourselves.

Gertrude's sixth post: 4/13/11
Oh my lord! What has my son come to? He killed Polonius! He didn't even seem to care after he discovered who it was. Not even of his action, the crime he has just committed. I don't know whether I should believe him or not because at this point, he is hallucinating. He's talking to himself and staring at the air as though he would be talking to someone, yet there is no one there. I don't know how he's going to be on his trip. I'm confused, I hope this all resolves soon.

What is going on with Hamlet? Accusing Claudius of murder! Accusing him of killing his own brother! I thought the play was going to be a step in getting our family closer. I thought we were all going to enjoy it. Instead, it turned out to be something played out, something that's been going on in my son's head. I don't know what to think. I wonder if there's anything left to do with my son. I'm so angry at him right now.
Gertrude's fourth post: 4/8/11
I thought it was a good idea to invite Hamlet's old friends Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, to talk to him and try to figure out what's really bothering him. But the fact that Hamlet's throwing people off is getting to me. I want my son to be happy again. And the news from Polonius is just another thing that worries me but I don't think that he's bring upon the real reason why my son is acting the way he is.

Gertrude's third post: 4/6/11
Hamlet still hasn't said a word to me since the day of our talk. I miss my husband but I think that Claudius has good intentions. I hope to get my son on the same page as I am.
Seven pieces of advice- Polonius gives Laertes
- Don’t say what you’re thinking, and don’t be too quick to act on what you think.
- Be friendly to people but don’t overdo it.
- Don’t be quick to pick a fight, but once you’re in one, hold your own.
- Listen to many people, but talk to few.
- Spend all you can afford on clothes
- Don’t borrow money and don’t lend it.
- Be true to yourself.

I have heard my son has been spending a lot of time with Ophelia but he hasn't spoken to me. It don't if I should say anything to him but I want to make this family work. I'm glad he decided to say.
